As Principal of Camellia School of Engineering & Technology, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to an engineering institution with adequate built-up space as per AICTE’s norm located in a lush green pollution-free environment of 8 acres. It is away from the din and bustles of city life, and is nearby airport and the railway station. The lush green Campus includes Academic and Administration infrastructure comprising of well lit Class Rooms equipped with modern teaching aids, Seminar Halls, Conference Room, Language Lab, Computer Laboratories, Library, Offices, Hostels for both Boys and Girls including their mess facilities, sports facilities and other allied facilities like parking, cafeterias, playground etc.

Our mission is to impart the right education that create industry ready engineers. We believe in flip learning and innovative teaching to inculcate a zeal for innovative works among the students. We focus on the input-output-outcome concept which determines the effectiveness of the teaching programme on the basis of the outcomes as the age-old input-output concept of the engineering education is no more relevant. We always try to employ latest pedagogical advancements and utilize modern tools and technologies to deliver our programs that empower our students so that they are prepared to face the diverse challenges of the future. Thus, we have a strong focus to develop faculty resources and to create an environment which is conducive for engineering talent. Apart from this, we have strategic tie-ups with various organisations of repute including CII (Confederation of Indian Industries), NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network, EEPC (Engineering Export Promotion council of India)etc. for bridging the gap and provide best training on latest technologies.

Apart from infrastructures and eco-friendly learning ambience, CSET has Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with various renowned Industries/Research organisations to facilitate our students to carry out their innovative works as part of the INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE namely “Udbhabani”. Engineering Education of the present era must produce technically excellent and innovative graduates in order to be able to cope with the rapidly changing world and swinging job market due to quick obsolescence of technology. Indulging in innovation and entrepreneurial activities, the students get a scope to enrich their curriculum vitae that acts as their USP to enhance the placement scenario. It has been decided that CSET will provide requisite supports to motivate the students to carry out their innovative ventures. We have connections with various organizations including IISc Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur, NIT Durgapur, CGCRI, Kolkata, ISI, Kolkata, IIEST Shibpur, Jadavpur University, Institution of Engineers, Kolkata etc. to facilitate the students to carry out their innovative works.

It is of our pride that along with our PhD and M.Tech students, our B.Tech students also publish research papers in the journals of repute. Our Faculty members put their best efforts to guide and support the students to continue their research work.

Our Placement team created a strong network to offer multiple opportunities for our students and we hope to have a strong impetus to take it to new levels of success.

Aristotle once said that, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”.

We take strong initiative to march our students ahead with ethos of moral values and principles to instill these qualities in our students. We strive hard to inculcate strong values combining with academics and extra-curricular activities in the students to make them sensitive and responsible citizen of the future.

In a nutshell, along with overall professional grooming, we do train the students to be a sensitive and responsible citizen too.
